"Ayubowan" and Welcome to Sri Lanka....
Over the years Sri Lanka has been called "Paradise", "The Pearl of the Indian Ocean", "Heaven on earth" and now the "Wonder of Asia". We have many beautiful places that will take your breath away, you'll wish your vacation in Sri Lanka would never end. This is one probable reason for being voted the number one destination to be visited in 2013 by Lonely Planet Magazine.
Only few places in the world can offer the traveller such a remarkable combination of stunning landscapes, pristine beaches, captivating cultural heritage and unique experiences within such a compact location. Within a mere area of 65,610 kilometres lie 8 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, 1,330 kilometres of coastline - much of it pristine beach - 15 national parks showcasing an abundance of wildlife, nearly 500,000 acres of lush tea estates, 250 acres of botanical gardens, 350 waterfalls, 25,000 water bodies, to a culture that extends back to over 2,500 years.
Dear Gerard, Dear Rohan,
We are back now to the grind of day to day work schedules, pollution and general chaos of life…
We just wanted to THANK YOU for making our short stay in Sri Lanka, a WONDERFUL trip….
Rohan it was nice meeting you in person finally….
Our Guide Upul was a wonderful, sweet, kind , helpful person and was patient with us throughout, despite the tight schedules and long drives.
The courses were good, we had a LOT of climbing up and down at the Nuwara Eliya course, which was challenging. Victoria was nice and picturesque, and since we had carts we did not have to walk too much.. I played 6 Over, so was very thrilled (Handicap is 13 ).
Overall we had a great time in your beautiful country, and will plan another trip.. but more relaxed one next time, with your guidance.
Thanks and regards, from all of usArjun MehtaMore
